Unfortunately, a lot has changed over the past month - even the prices of Samsung smartphones. It is somewhat sad to remember my own comparison of the Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy S22 when both smartphones were much cheaper. True, there are still places where the same Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is sold at an affordable price and the price increase was about 10%. It is worth noting that not everything is so simple with Samsung: either they declare that they remain on the market, then they leave, and at the same time, the court lifts all restrictions on Samsung Pay. Let’s try to figure out what is happening with Samsung, where you can buy their smartphones, and how much they cost in the current realities.

Samsung in Russia
Samsung remains in Russia, but the official online store is still on standby. The company suspended deliveries of its products to Russia in early March but later explained that the reason for the cessation was purely logistics. Despite this, many sources insisted that Samsung would join the suspension of sales in Russia, but the rumors were not confirmed. True, it is still impossible to buy Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22 Ultra on the official website - the signature “Coming soon” hangs everywhere.
The same with the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE: it is out of stock, and next to each color is the inscription “Sold out”. True, the prices for it are the same - from 59,990 rubles. You can click the “Check Availability” button. Apparently, the company is still experiencing problems with the delivery of goods. Let’s see where else the Samsung Galaxy is for sale, and how much it costs.
How much is Samsung Galaxy
The first link that catches your eye is the authorized Samsung branded online store: the Galaxy S21 FE already costs 74 thousand rubles in it - if memory serves, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 costs the same at the end of last year. True, now the clamshell also added in price - almost 90 thousand rubles for 128 GB. The new Galaxy S22 with 128 GB will cost 79,990, but it is also not on sale. But there is S22 Ultra, however, at 512 GB - for 134,990. The 256 GB version is not on sale.
On Yandex.Market, the situation is similar: Samsung Galaxy S21 FE - from 71 thousand rubles, Galaxy S22 for 128 GB - from 98 thousand rubles, and Galaxy S22 Ultra - from 158 thousand rubles for a smartphone with 256 GB of memory. On Yandex.Market, the latest smartphone is noticeably more expensive than the official ones - be careful and do not overpay.
On Yandex.Market S21 FE is expensive. There are also cheaper. The Svyaznoy online store stands apart: the S21 FE is cheaper here - from 66,990 rubles for 128 GB, but the new Galaxy S22 is not on sale. S21 FE in Svyaznoy is much cheaper than in other places.
How much is an inexpensive Samsung
Let’s talk a little about the inexpensive Samsung Galaxy A52, which recently received a successor in the face of the A53. Traditionally, when a new model comes out, the previous one should become cheaper, but it seems that this year it does not work that way. Here’s how much the A52 costs now.

The lowest price for an inexpensive Samsung was found in the Tsifrus online store: 31,670 rubles. As you can see, the price difference is around 5 thousand rubles.
As you can see, even the budget Samsung Galaxy has increased in price despite the release of new items. Until recently, this smartphone cost about 25 thousand rubles. True, there should be no problems with buying a smartphone - the official online store suspended sales for a while, but resellers have the device, albeit at a higher price.
New Samsung Galaxy S22
The smartphone was released not so long ago, but they have already managed to compare it with the iPhone and find some flaws. So experts from Computer Base found out that the Exynos 2200 from the Galaxy S22 is inferior to the A13 Bionic in performance. Let me remind you that A13 is a chip that was installed in the iPhone 11 and iPhone SE 2020, so to speak, smartphones are not the first freshness. Even the version of the chip in the S22 Ultra failed to produce the expected performance, losing to the iPhone 13 Pro Max in Geekbench 5 and in autonomy tests from bloggers from PhoneBuff - 9 hours for Samsung versus 12 hours for the iPhone 13 Pro Max.
And recently it turned out that these are not the last sores of the Galaxy S22: users were faced with navigation inoperability after the initial setup of the smartphone or after a long period of non-use: many had a notification “GPS cannot be detected”. Everything is solved by a simple reboot or reset to factory settings, but, you see, it’s unpleasant when a smartphone for more than 100 thousand is buggy.
Against the backdrop of all the claims against the Samsung Galaxy, these have one important advantage over the iPhone - for example, the fact that smartphones are on sale in large quantities, and the company has not suspended operations in Russia. In addition, the iPhone has noticeably increased in price and is unlikely to become cheaper over time, which cannot be said about Samsung - Android smartphones invariably begin to become cheaper over time.
