POCO M3 Pro confirmed to come with 5000mAh battery and 18W fast charging

POCO Global is all set to launch the POCO M3 Pro 5G smartphone on May 19. The upcoming POCO M3 Pro will be the first POCO mid-range device to offer 5G connectivity and a high refresh-rate display. The company has already confirmed the presence of a MediaTek Dimension 700 SoC, and a 6.5-inch FHD + display with 90Hz refresh rate and dynamicSwitch feature on the device. Today, POCO shared another teaser revealing another key feature of the upcoming POCO device. The teaser suggests that the upcoming M3 Pro will have a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support.

POCO M3 Pro 5G: Design, Specifications and Features

Earlier this week, leaked renders of the M3 Pro appeared on the web, revealing the presence of a triple-rear camera setup. There will be a black vertical island around the camera, with POCO branding inside the smartphone, around the rectangular camera module. Renderers also show us a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the device. The upcoming POCO M-series smartphone will retail in Black, Yellow and Blue color variants.

The company has confirmed the presence of a 5,000mAh battery unit in the upcoming POCO M3 Pro. It will be supported by 18W fast-charging on the Type-C port. The upcoming POCO M-Series device is confirmed to come with a 6.5-inch FHD + LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a dot-notch. With the DynamicSwitch feature, the device can automatically switch between 30, 50, 60, or 90 Hz refresh rates depending on the content.

The POCO M3 Pro will mark the beginning of the Dimension Processor on the POCO smartphone, and as a result, it will be a 5G-capable device. It will sport an octa-core MediaTek Dimension 700 processor built on the 7nm manufacturing process. The device has also been confirmed to have more RAM and faster storage than the regular POCO M3.

The POCO M3 Pro 5G was spotted on the IMEI database some time ago, indicating that it is a rebadge of the Redmi Note 10 5G. We can expect it to have a 48MP primary sensor, 2MP depth and a 2MP macro sensor. It can be equipped with an 8MP front shooter similar to the Redmi Note 10 5G.
